The short version
- We use one analytics cookie to count visits and see which pages people find useful. You can turn it off below or in the cookie notice.
- We don't sell your information, we don't show ads, and we don't use ad trackers.
- If you contact us or create an account, we use what you send to reply and to work with you.
- For analytics we record your general area (city, region, country), not your exact location, and we don't store your IP address.
This notice covers intervallum.dev, run by Intervallum LLC, an Alabama company based in Phenix City. The sample websites in our live preview are fictional demos: forms there don't send anything anywhere.
What we collect
When you browse the site
With analytics on, we record the pages you open, roughly how long you spend actively using each one (only while the tab is open and you're scrolling, clicking or typing), how far you scroll, which buttons and links you click, and which sample websites you look at. Each record carries the random cookie IDs below, your general location as reported by our hosting network (city, region and country), your device type, browser and operating system, the site that sent you here and any campaign tags in the link. If you're signed in, we also link these records to your account.
When you contact us
Your name, email, company (if you give it), your message and any answers you add, plus which button or sample site led you to the form. If analytics are on, we link your message to your visit so we can see what you looked at before reaching out.
When you have an account
Your sign-in details and the profile you choose to fill in (photo, job title, company, phone, website, location, time zone and bio), plus the projects, messages, files and video calls you use in your client portal.
For security
To protect the site and your account, we keep a security log of sign-ins, form submissions and suspicious requests. These entries include the IP address and browser details of the request. We don't use them for analytics or marketing.
Cookies and browser storage
We keep this list short on purpose. There are no advertising or social media cookies on this site.
| Name | Type | What it's for | How long | Category |
|---|
iv_vid | Cookie | A random ID that lets us count you as one visitor across visits. It contains nothing about you. | 1 year | Analytics |
iv_sid | Cookie | A random ID for one visit, so we can tell visits apart. | 30 minutes of inactivity | Analytics |
sb-… (Supabase) | Cookie | Keeps you signed in to your client account. | Until you sign out | Needed for sign-in |
iv-analytics | Browser storage | Remembers whether you turned analytics on or off. | Until you clear it | Needed for your choice |
iv-last-template | Browser storage | The last sample website you looked at, so the contact form can suggest it. | Until you clear it | Convenience |
iv-sound | Browser storage | Remembers whether you turned the background sound on. | Until you clear it | Convenience |
How we use it
- To reply to you, quote work and deliver the website or software you hire us for.
- To run your client portal and account.
- To understand which pages and sample sites are useful, so we can improve them.
- To keep the site secure, stop spam and abuse, and investigate problems.
- To meet legal obligations, such as keeping business records.
We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't use it to show you ads anywhere.
Who helps us run the site
A few companies process information for us so the site works. They may only use it to provide their service to us.
- Vercel hosts the website and tells us the general location of each visit.
- Supabase stores our database, accounts, messages and files.
- Upstash helps limit repeated requests to stop abuse.
- LiveKit runs video calls in the client portal.
- Mux streams videos on the site.
- Have I Been Pwned checks new passwords against known breaches. Only a short, scrambled fragment of the password is sent, never the password itself.
- Our internal team notifications let us know when a new message or security alert comes in.
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our clients or the public.
How long we keep it
- Analytics records are deleted after 13 months.
- Messages you send us are kept while we're talking or working together, and as long as needed for our records after that.
- Account information is kept until you ask us to close your account.
- Security logs are kept as long as needed to protect the site and investigate problems.
Your choices
- Analytics: turn them off above or with the cookie notice at any time. Turning them off also removes our visitor cookie from your browser.
- Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends this signal, we treat it as turning analytics off.
- See, fix or delete your information: email us and we'll help. You can also update your profile yourself from your account.
Keeping it safe
We build with security in mind: encrypted connections, careful access controls, two-factor sign-in for our team, and regular testing of our own work. No system is completely risk-free, so we can't promise perfect security, but if something goes wrong we'll act quickly and tell you if your information was affected.
Children, other sites and changes
This site is for businesses and isn't meant for children under 13. We don't knowingly collect their information. Links to other websites are covered by those sites' own privacy notices. If we change this notice, we'll update the date at the top of this page, and for bigger changes we'll let account holders know.
